Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the site owners.
2. The Categories We Use
We group cookies and similar technologies into three categories:
- Necessary – required for the site to work and always on. These cover sign-in and security (Clerk), remembering your selected team, storing league invitations, and saving your cookie choice itself. They set no third-party tracking cookies.
- Analytics – help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We use Mixpanel, hosted in the EU. Subject to the consent rules in section 4.
- Marketing – measure the performance of our advertising so we can reach the right players. We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and the Google Ads tag. Subject to the consent rules in section 4.
3. Cookieless Measurement
Some tools we use for performance and reliability do not store cookies or identify you personally, so they run without requiring consent: Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights, and Axiom Web Vitals. Payment sessions handled by our providers (e.g. Stripe) may set cookies only when you actually start a checkout.
4. Cookie Consent
How we ask depends on where you are. If you visit from the EU/EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before setting any non-essential (analytics or marketing) cookies, in accordance with EU and Danish law. Elsewhere — including the United States and Canada — these cookies are active by default under notice-and-opt-out rules, and you can turn them off at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an opt-out of marketing cookies. Necessary cookies are always active because the site cannot function without them.
5. Changing or Withdrawing Consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by selecting “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page, which reopens the preferences panel. You can also control and delete cookies through your browser settings; note that disabling necessary cookies may break parts of the site.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
