This is the free-agent pool for adult recreational hockey: players in the United States, Canada and Europe who have marked themselves as looking for a team. Each profile lists position (center, wing, defense or goalie), skill level from beginner up, home rink and how far they will travel for a regular skate. Captains filter by city and position, then send an invite in-app. Contact details stay private until you sign up and open a profile, so nobody gets cold-called from a public list.

Why don't I see real names on this page?
Player profiles aren't public to anonymous visitors — names, photos, and contact info are only visible after you sign up as a captain. This page shows aggregated stats and anonymized previews so you can see what's on offer before you commit.
Is it free to invite players?
Yes. Browsing player profiles, sending invites, and chatting with players is free for captains — no credit card required. Pro exists for captains who run multiple teams; most casual captains never need it.
How do players show up here?
A player joins Beerleague.net free, creates a profile, sets it to public, and toggles "Looking for a team". They appear in this pool and the dashboard discovery feed for captains in their city.
What if there are no players in my city yet?
List your team anyway — players see the team listings before signing up. Captains who pre-list get priority placement when players in their city join.
