How does buying ice time work?
Browse the board, open a listing, and message the seller through the built-in chat. You agree on the handoff together — the rink, the booking details, and how they get paid. Once it’s settled, the seller marks the slot sold and it comes off the board.
Is it free to sell a slot?
Yes. Listing is free and there is no commission — you keep the full asking price. It takes about a minute: pick the rink, set the time, name your price.
How do payments work?
Directly between buyer and seller — e-transfer, Venmo, cash at the rink, whatever you both prefer. BeerLeague.net doesn’t process the payment and doesn’t take a cut, so agree on the method in chat before the slot.
Are prices negotiable?
The asking price is a starting point. Ice is perishable — an unsold slot is worth nothing once the clock runs out, so many sellers will take a reasonable offer as the date gets close.

Who can post a listing?
Any BeerLeague.net member with booked rink time they can’t use — captains, players, and organizers alike. Accounts are free, no credit card required.
What happens when my slot sells?
Mark it sold from your dashboard and it disappears from the board immediately. If your plans change and you can use the ice after all, you can cancel the listing at any time.
