1. Overview
BeerLeague.net lets players, captains and organizers upload content such as profile photos, team logos, league and tournament logos, and descriptions. Beerleague ApS respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and with applicable European Union and Danish law, and we remove or disable access to infringing material when we receive a valid notice.
2. Designated Agent
Send copyright notices and counter notices to our designated agent:
Copyright Agent, Beerleague ApS
C.F. Møllers Allé 94, St Th
2300 København S
Denmark
Email: support@beerleague.net (subject line: Copyright notice)
3. Filing a Takedown Notice
If you believe content on BeerLeague.net infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to act for, send a written notice to the designated agent that includes all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or a representative list if the notice covers several works.
- The URL of the page where the material appears on BeerLeague.net, with enough detail for us to locate it (for example the team, league, tournament or player profile address).
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
When we receive a complete notice we remove or disable access to the material, notify the user who uploaded it, and give them a copy of the notice. Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing can make you liable for damages under Section 512(f) of the DMCA.
4. Counter Notice
If your content was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter notice to the designated agent that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the URL where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the United States federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if you are outside the United States, any district in which Beerleague ApS may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice or their agent.
We forward counter notices to the original complainant. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action to restrain the alleged infringement, we may restore the removed material within 10 to 14 business days of receiving the counter notice.
5. Repeat Infringers
We may suspend or close the accounts of users who are the subject of repeated valid infringement notices, and we may remove uploaded content at our discretion when we believe it infringes someone else's rights.
6. Trademarks and Other Rights
This process covers copyright. If you believe content on BeerLeague.net infringes a trademark or other right, or contains your personal data without consent, contact support@beerleague.net and we will review the report.
